How to get there:

The conference is being held at the Greenberg Lounge at NYU’s School of Law, located on the south side of Washington Square Park in New York City. The address is 40 Washington Square South, and it is easily reached by public transit.

If you’re traveling by train, the A/C/E/B/D/F/M trains stop at the West 4th Street (W4) stop, which is two blocks from the law school.

If you’re flying into the city, you can easily fly into Newark airport in New Jersey, LaGuardia airport in Queens, or the JFK airport in Brooklyn.

Public transportation: New York City has numerous public transportation options. Also, the subways and city buses are part of the same municipal structure so you can use your subway ticket on the buses. New fare information can be found here.

Taxis and other car services:Cabs are ubiquitous in Manhattan (less so in the outer boroughs) and run on a hail-only policy. In other words, you can’t phone a taxi service and reserve a cab. All cabs now have credit card machines.

If you’d like to reserve a private car, you can use a car service like Dial 7 (call 212-777-7777) – best used in Manhattan only– or Lyft.  If you’re staying in one of the other boroughs, check online to find out which local and reliable car services exist in the neighborhood you’re staying in. Don’t call Dial 7 unless you’re traveling within Manhattan or you’ll get charged for the time it takes the driver to drive out of Manhattan.
